Errata: EE380 Computer Organization and Design

August 28, 2008: Fall 2008 EE380 Info

This is not really an error, but an informational comment for those who might be looking at the course information a bit ahead. There are a variety of improvements being made to the course for this semester, and these changes may alter the references, etc. However, the material posted is essentially correct as it is currently posted as of this date. The registration server will be enabled by the second meeting of class.

Spetember 30, 2008: Assignment 1, Question 5

A hint has been added. The key point is that the PC is getting the value added from the immediate (offset) field. In other words, it doesn't matter how you get the PC updated, as long as it has the correct value by the time you JUMP(Start).
