After Chapter 1, we are discussing how to build a very simple implementation of a processor using "EE280 stuff." The memory designs are discussed in Appendix B of the textbook; however, Appendix B is an appendix for the entire book, so only portions of are relevant at this stage in our course. Further, the text does not discuss this simple computer design: the materials linked here are the primary reference.
