This is the official home page for EE380 (AKA, CS380). There is only one section, meeting TR 12:30-1:45 in 320 Chemistry-Physics Building.
Remember that there was not a class on Thursday, January 26 because Prof. Dietz was presenting a paper at the IS&T/SPIE Electronic Imaging conference in San Francisco? Well, the make-up lecture is now scheduled. The slides for the lecture are here (PDF). Please attend any one of the following:
The final exam will be Wednesday, May 2, at 8AM. Course evaluations will be April 24; we will be spending class on April 26 on return of the second exam and review for the final. There are review materials posted: a practice assignment covering the last portion of the course and a practice final.
The second exam will be Tuesday, April 17. Class on Thursday, April 12, will be review for it. Material covered will span assembly language, arithmetic, and single-cycle design. There will be a brief MIPS reference card at the back of the exam similar to this PDF.
The first exam was Tuesday, February 28. Class on Thursday, February 23 was review for it. Material covered spanned the intro material, simple implementation architecture, and performance analysis.
Power outage: there was a (scheduled) power outage the night of Feb. 16 which made this WWW site briefly unavailable. Everything is back to normal now.
All course materials will be posted here. I am doing a major update of the course materials, so be aware that things may change significantly if you're looking ahead....
