IS&T EI25 Aggregate.Org

This is the home page for our research demo exhibit at the IS&T Electronic Imaging 2025 conference. The exhibit is under the title University of Kentucky, but was really just about the four papers Aggregate.Org presented at EI25. Here's a somewhat artsy photo of our demo table:

Although work from all four papers was demonstrated, by far the most attention was drawn by the collection of KAMF cameras that people could pick up and play with. The KAMF cameras are exceptionally cute, yet surprisingly functional, so the reaction to them was about the same as people have when they stumble upon a collection photos of kittens doing silly things online... The other demos we did simply involved showing slides and/or the relevant software running on laptops.

The four papers presented were:

  1. Construction, quality assessment, and applications of pixel value error PDF models (preprint, errpdf software homepage), presented by Henry Dietz
  2. KAMF: An interchangeable-lens mirrorless camera made from a kid's camera (preprint, KAMF project homepage), presented by Henry Dietz

  3. Use of sharp image content to enhance sharpness of other image areas (preprint, kongsub software homepage), presented by Hunter Durkee

  4. Preservation of color metadata across transformations of pixel data (preprint), presented by Coleman Earlywine
